Have I mentioned how excited I am for 2010?
I’m expecting a year packed with wonderful movies, music, and television.
Season Two of Glee? Yes, please. I am pleased to admit, I am a gleek. With the combination of catchy acapella renditions of hit pop songs, Jane Lynch’s hilarious portrayal of cheerios coach Sue Sylvester. and the equal balance of music, drama and comedy, Glee is quickly become one of my favorite television show’s of the year, and that is difficult, because I watch a lot of television.
New season of No Reservations? Of course!
What about the premier of Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland? Are you looking forward to the “sequel” to the classic Disney Cartoon? Or will it ruin the original for you? I must say, i’m really excited for the movie to be released. The costume and make-up design look amazing, and Tim Burton is sure to put a dark, eerie, adult twist on it. With all this hype building up to it, it better deliver.
Others im excited for include Youth in Revolt, Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows, and The Lovely Bones.
What are you looking forward to music wise?
My Chemical Romance
Motion City Soundtrack
Blink 182
The Academy Is…
Tegan and Sara
Vampire Weekend
Circa Survive
Minus the Bear
……just to name a few…..
Not to mention the opening of a Harry Party “island” to Universal Studios Island of Adventure in Orlando, Florida. This section of the park is set to contain Olivanders Wand Shop, Diagon Alley, and, of course, Hogwarts Castle.
Also I have many exciting events taking place in my life in the coming years. Including a trip to Boston and surrounding areas over the summer. Plus there is talk at my house about Chicago, Seattle, and Portland.
All this talk about the exciting things happening in 2010 is making me remember the important things I have to get done, job applications anyone?
